XhtmlPageAdapter::HandlePagePostBackEvent Method

Indicates whether the adapter handles the postback event. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.MobileControls.Adapters.XhtmlAdapters
Assembly:  System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)

public:
virtual bool HandlePagePostBackEvent(
	String^ eventSource,
	String^ eventArgument
)

Parameters

eventSource
Type: System::String
The source identifier for the event.
eventArgument
Type: System::String
The name of the event.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
false.

Implements

IPageAdapter::HandlePagePostBackEvent(String, String)

The HandlePagePostBackEvent method is called during postback. An adapter can choose to handle the event. The XhtmlPageAdapter class does not handle the postback event and always returns false.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding the HandlePagePostBackEvent method in a derived class, if you want your page adapter to handle the postback event, return true after handling the event.
