XhtmlControlAdapter::SecondaryUIMode Property

Gets the current secondary UI mode.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.MobileControls.Adapters.XhtmlAdapters
Assembly:  System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)

protected:
virtual property int SecondaryUIMode {
	int get ();
	void set (int value);
}

Property Value

Type: System::Int32
A number indicating the current secondary UI mode, as determined by the form in which it is contained.

Secondary UI is used by controls that show additional screens of a user interface. To use secondary UI, a control adapter performs the following steps:

  1. During a postback event, the control adapter sets the SecondaryUIMode property in the XhtmlControlAdapter base class.

  2. In rendering, the control checks the secondary UI mode, and renders the appropriate secondary UI.

  3. In response to user interaction with the secondary UI, the control adapter might change the secondary UI mode to another value, or exit secondary UI mode by calling the ExitSecondaryUIMode method.

This property is primarily used by developers of custom adapters.
