XhtmlControlAdapter::ConditionalClearCachedEndTag Method (XhtmlMobileTextWriter^, String^)
Clears the given text writer's current end tag if certain conditions are met. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.
Assembly: System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)
protected: virtual void ConditionalClearCachedEndTag( XhtmlMobileTextWriter^ writer, String^ s )
Parameters
- writer
-
Type:
System.Web.UI.MobileControls.Adapters.XhtmlAdapters::XhtmlMobileTextWriter^
The XhtmlMobileTextWriter object used to render the server control content on the client's browser.
- s
-
Type:
System::String^
The name of the tag you want to clear; the value can be null or an empty string ("").
This functionality is required only in the very rare case of a target device where a selected element cannot appear inside a table. If the s parameter is provided, the cached ending tag is cleared. This allows the text writer to insert content when the target device does not support <select> elements immediately after the end of a table.
This method is primarily used by the .NET Framework internally.
