WmlMobileTextWriter.RenderDoEvent Method (String, String, String, WmlPostFieldType, String, Boolean)

Parameters

doType
Type: System.String

The type of action to render. Maps to the type attribute of the < do > element. Usually "accept" or "options".

target
Type: System.String

The ID of the control targeted by the action. When the user selects the action, a postback is generated, targeting the control specified by this ID.

arg
Type: System.String

The argument for the action. The argument is included in the postback generated when the user selects the action.

postBackType
Type: System.Web.UI.MobileControls.Adapters.WmlPostFieldType

The WmlPostFieldType type used for arg.

text
Type: System.String

The label associated with the action. This usually appears as a softkey label on the device.

includeVariables
Type: System.Boolean

Whether to include all variables on the form when posting back to the server.

If the control you are targeting is the current form and you want to include all the variables when posting back to the server, you can use the RenderFormDoEvent method. Called internally by the writer and inherited classes.
