WmlControlAdapter::RenderLink Method

Renders an entire link, with the specified text inside. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

protected: void RenderLink( WmlMobileTextWriter^ writer, String^ targetUrl, String^ softkeyLabel, bool implicitSoftkeyLabel, bool mapToSoftkey, String^ text, bool breakAfter )
Parameters
- writer
- Type: System.Web.UI.MobileControls.Adapters::WmlMobileTextWriter
The specified text writer.
- targetUrl
- Type: System::String
The URL target.
- softkeyLabel
- Type: System::String
The softkey text to use for the link.
- implicitSoftkeyLabel
- Type: System::Boolean
Set to true if mapping to a softkey on the device.
- mapToSoftkey
- Type: System::Boolean
Set to true if the softkey label comes from the device adapter itself (the default label, or something else that is adapter specified, such as "Call" for a PhoneCall control), rather than a softkey label explicitly specified by the application author.

- Type: System::String
The text defining the link.
- breakAfter
- Type: System::Boolean
Set to true if the BreakAfter property is required to be set.
