HtmlMeta.Name Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets the metadata property name defined by the HtmlMeta control.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.HtmlControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public:
virtual property String^ Name {
	String^ get ();
	void set (String^ value);
}
/** @property */
public String get_Name ()

/** @property */
public void set_Name (String value)

public function get Name () : String

public function set Name (value : String)

Property Value

The property name.

The Name property, together with the Content property, defines a metadata property of the page.

The Name property is rendered to the name attribute of the resulting HTML <meta> element.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the HtmlMeta control to define HTML <meta> elements for a Web page. Two <meta> tags are defined, one listing keywords describing the page and one listing the date the page was created. The Name property is used to define the name attribute of each <meta> tag.

No code example is currently available or this language may not be supported.
