HtmlInputFile::LoadPostData Method

Processes the postback data for the HtmlInputFile control.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.HtmlControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

protected:
virtual bool LoadPostData(
	String^ postDataKey,
	NameValueCollection^ postCollection
)

Parameters

postDataKey
Type: System::String
The key identifier for the control.
postCollection
Type: System.Collections.Specialized::NameValueCollection
The collection of all incoming name values.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
This method always returns false.

The HtmlInputFile control implements the IPostBackDataHandler interface, which has two methods: IPostBackDataHandler::LoadPostData and IPostBackDataHandler::RaisePostDataChangedEvent. The LoadPostData method is called by the RaisePostDataChangedEvent() method and always returns false, indicating that the HtmlInputFile control's state is not managed by the ASP.NET page framework.

The LoadPostData method is used primarily by control developers extending the functionality of the HtmlInputFile control.
