HtmlForm::RenderChildren Method

Renders the child controls of the HtmlForm control.

Parameters

writer
Type: System.Web.UI::HtmlTextWriter
The HtmlTextWriter that receives the rendered content.

The Web page has more than one server-side <form> tag.

The RenderChildren method renders client script to ensure that the browser focus is set to the control specified in the DefaultFocus property.

NoteNote

A control specified by the Page::SetFocus property takes precedence over a control specified by the DefaultFocus property.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding the RenderChildren method in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's RenderChildren method so that the HtmlForm control's child controls are correctly rendered.
