WebFormsRootDesigner Class
Assembly: System.Design (in system.design.dll)
A design host, such as Visual Studio 2005, must provide its own derived version of the WebFormsRootDesigner class to control designers through the RootDesigner property of the designer. Control designers use the RootDesigner property to access and manipulate the containing Web Forms page at design time.
Notes to Inheritors When you inherit from the WebFormsRootDesigner class, you must override the following members:-
The IsDesignerViewLocked, IsLoading, ReferenceManager, SupportedTechnologies, and Verbs properties.
-
The AddClientScriptToDocument, AddControlToDocument, GetClientScriptsInDocument, GetControlViewAndTag, and RemoveControlFromDocument methods.
Windows 98, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
The .NET Framework does not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see System Requirements.
