Releases the unmanaged resources that are used by the XmlDesigner control and optionally releases the managed resources.

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

disposing
Boolean

true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.

Remarks

Call Dispose when you are finished using the XmlDesigner class. The Dispose method leaves the XmlDesigner in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the XmlDesigner so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the XmlDesigner was occupying. Note

Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the XmlDesigner. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the XmlDesigner object's Finalize method.

The Dispose method is called by the public Dispose() method and the Finalize() method, if it has been overridden. The Dispose() invokes the protected Dispose(Boolean) method with disposing set to true. The Finalize specifies the disposing parameter as false.

When disposing is true, the Dispose method releases all resources that are held by any managed objects that this XmlDesigner references. The Dispose method invokes the Dispose() method of each referenced object.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding Dispose(Boolean), because the Dispose method can be called multiple times by other objects, be careful not to reference objects that have been previously disposed of in an earlier call to the Dispose method.
