ObjectDataSourceDesigner::TypeName Property

Gets or sets the name of the type that contains the methods that are specified in the associated control.

Property Value

Type: System::String
A string containing the name of the type that contains the methods that perform the Delete, Insert, Select, and Update database operations specified in the associated ObjectDataSource.

The TypeName property shadows the TypeName property of the associated control.

When the value of the TypeName property is changed, the design-time markup for the associated ObjectDataSource control is updated. The RefreshSchema method is called, if the CanRefreshSchema property is true; otherwise, the DataSourceChanged event is raised.
