Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Returns a data source view with the specified name.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls
Assembly: System.Design (in system.design.dll)

public:
virtual DesignerDataSourceView^ GetView (
	String^ viewName
) override
public DesignerDataSourceView GetView (
	String viewName
)
public override function GetView (
	viewName : String
) : DesignerDataSourceView

Parameters

viewName

A string containing the name of the ObjectDesignerDataSourceView.

Return Value

An ObjectDesignerDataSourceView with the name specified by viewName.

The GetView method returns an ObjectDesignerDataSourceView object with the specified name. If viewName is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or an empty string (""), the first view name in the array of names that is returned by GetViewNames is used as the specified name. If no view names are returned by the GetViewNames, GetView generates an unnamed ObjectDesignerDataSourceView.
