IHierarchicalDataSourceDesigner::CanConfigure Property

Gets a value indicating whether the Configure method can be called.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.Design
Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)

property bool CanConfigure {
	bool get ();
}

Property Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if the underlying data source has a configuration wizard that can be launched with Configure, otherwise, false.

The CanConfigure property is used by a design host, such as Visual Studio 2005, to determine whether to display a Configure command at design time.

Notes to Implementers

If you implement the IHierarchicalDataSourceDesigner interface to create your own data source and you do not provide configuration functionality, the CanConfigure property should always return false and the Configure method should raise a NotSupportedException.
