IDataSourceProvider::GetResolvedSelectedDataSource Method

Gets the selected data member from the selected data source.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.Design
Assembly:  System.Design (in System.Design.dll)

IEnumerable^ GetResolvedSelectedDataSource()

Return Value

Type: System.Collections::IEnumerable
The selected data member from the selected data source, if the control allows the user to select an IListSource (such as a DataSet) for the data source, and provides a DataMember property to select a particular list (or DataTable) within the data source.

The following code example implements the GetResolvedSelectedDataSource and GetSelectedDataSource methods of the IDataSourceProvider interface. The GetSelectedDataSource method gets an arbitrary object as the data source, and this implementation of the GetResolvedSelectedDataSource method converts that object into an IEnumerable object.
