ControlDesigner.OnComponentChanged Method

Called when the associated control changes.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.Design
Assembly: System.Design (in system.design.dll)

public:
virtual void OnComponentChanged (
	Object^ sender,
	ComponentChangedEventArgs^ ce
)
public void OnComponentChanged (
	Object sender,
	ComponentChangedEventArgs ce
)
public function OnComponentChanged (
	sender : Object,
	ce : ComponentChangedEventArgs
)

Parameters

sender

The source of the event.

ce

A ComponentChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.

The OnComponentChanged method is called when a property on the associated control is changed. It allows the implementer to do any processing that might be required after a property change. Calling the OnComponentChanged method causes the design host to call the GetDesignTimeHtml method. The base implementation of the OnComponentChanged method also persists the control in the page markup.

Notes to Inheritors Override the OnComponentChanged method to provide additional processing before persisting the control and before refreshing the design-time HTML markup. When overriding the OnComponentChanged method in a derived class, make sure that you call the OnComponentChanged method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
