StatisticFormula.Correlation Method (String, String)

The correlation formula shows the strength of the relationship that exists between two random variables.

	string firstInputSeriesName,
	string secondInputSeriesName
)

Parameters

firstInputSeriesName
Type: System.String

Name of the Series object that stores the first group's data.

secondInputSeriesName
Type: System.String

Name of the Series object that stores the second group's data.

Return Value

Type: System.Double

Correlation value between the two groups of data.

The method throws an exception if the input series do not have the same number of data points.
