Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
The ClientState property provides access to the internal ClientState property of the Page class.
View state data stored by the PageStatePersister object in the internal ClientState property of Page will always be saved in the hidden field on the Web page.
Notes to Inheritors: When you inherit from the PageAdapter class, you cannot override the ClientState property because it is not virtual. To modify the behavior of ClientState in a derived class, implement a new ClientState property that references the ClientState property of the base class.Windows 98, Windows Server 2000 SP4, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
