SiteMapNode.IsAccessibleToUser Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets a value indicating whether the specified site map node can be viewed by the user in the specified context.

Parameters

context

The HttpContext that contains user information.

Return Value

true if security trimming is enabled and the user can view the site map node or security trimming is not enabled; otherwise, false.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

The specified context is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The IsAccessibleToUser method calls the IsAccessibleToUser method of the provider that the node is associated with, passing the specified context.
