SessionStateStoreProviderBase::InitializeRequest Method (HttpContext^)

Called by the SessionStateModule object for per-request initialization.

Namespace:   System.Web.SessionState
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

virtual void InitializeRequest(
	HttpContext^ context
) abstract

Type: System.Web::HttpContext^

The HttpContext for the current request.

The SessionStateModule object calls the InitializeRequest method before calling any other SessionStateStoreProviderBase method. You can use the InitializeRequest method to perform any per-request initialization required by your session-state store provider.

For an example of a session-state store provider implementation, see Implementing a Session-State Store Provider.
