IHttpSessionState::CodePage Property
Gets or sets the code-page identifier for the current session.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
A character set (code page) is used to interpret multi-byte character data, determining character value, and therefore sort order. Code-page settings apply only to multi-byte character data, not to Unicode character data.
This CodePage property is provided for compatibility with earlier versions of ASP only. If you do not need to maintain backward compatibility with ASP pages, use the CodePage property of the ContentEncoding property instead.
The following code example implements the CodePage property of the IHttpSessionState interface to get and set the encoding for the current response.
Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP Starter Edition, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2000 SP4, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 98
The .NET Framework and .NET Compact Framework do not support all versions of every platform. For a list of the supported versions, see .NET Framework System Requirements.
