ServiceDescriptionFormatExtensionCollection::IsHandled Method

Returns a value indicating whether the specified object is used by the import process when the extensibility element is imported into the XML Web service.

Parameters

item
Type: System::Object
An object, either of type XmlElement or ServiceDescriptionFormatExtension to check for use by the import process.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if the item parameter is used; otherwise false.

This method checks whether the item parameter is an XmlElement or a ServiceDescriptionFormatExtension (or a derived class) before determining whether it is supported by the XML Web service.
