MessageCollection.Insert Method
Adds the specified Message to the MessageCollection at the specified zero-based index.
[Visual Basic] Public Sub Insert( _ ByVal index As Integer, _ ByVal message As Message _ ) [C#] public void Insert( int index, Message message ); [C++] public: void Insert( int index, Message* message ); [JScript] public function Insert( index : int, message : Message );
Parameters
- index
- The zero-based index at which to insert the message parameter.
- message
- The Message to add to the collection.
Exceptions
| Exception Type | Condition |
|---|---|
| IndexOutOfRangeException | The index parameter is less than zero.
- or - The index parameter is greater than Count. |
Remarks
If the number of items in the collection already equals the collection's capacity, the capacity is doubled by automatically reallocating the internal array before the new element is inserted.
If the index parameter is equal to Count, the message parameter is added to the end of the MessageCollection.
The elements after the insertion point move down to accommodate the new element.
Example
[Visual Basic] Dim myMessage1 As New Message() myMessage1.Name = "AddSoapIn" Dim myMessagePart1 As New MessagePart() myMessagePart1.Name = "parameters" myMessagePart1.Element = New XmlQualifiedName("Add", _ myServiceDescription.TargetNamespace) myMessage1.Parts.Insert(0, myMessagePart1) myServiceDescription.Messages.Insert(16, myMessage1) [C#] Message myMessage1 = new Message(); myMessage1.Name = "AddSoapIn"; MessagePart myMessagePart1 = new MessagePart(); myMessagePart1.Name = "parameters"; myMessagePart1.Element = new XmlQualifiedName("Add",myServiceDescription.TargetNamespace); myMessage1.Parts.Insert(0,myMessagePart1); myServiceDescription.Messages.Insert(16,myMessage1); [C++] Message* myMessage1 = new Message(); myMessage1->Name = S"AddSoapIn"; MessagePart* myMessagePart1 = new MessagePart(); myMessagePart1->Name = S"parameters"; myMessagePart1->Element = new XmlQualifiedName(S"Add",myServiceDescription->TargetNamespace); myMessage1->Parts->Insert(0,myMessagePart1); myServiceDescription->Messages->Insert(16,myMessage1);
