SqlMembershipProvider.RequiresUniqueEmail Property

 

Gets a value indicating whether the SQL Server membership provider is configured to require a unique e-mail address for each user name.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean

true if the membership provider requires a unique e-mail address; otherwise, false. The default is false.

The following code example shows the element in the system.web section of the Web.config file for an ASP.NET application. It specifies the SqlMembershipProvider instance and configures it to require a unique e-mail address for each user name.
