FormsAuthenticationTicket.IssueDate Property
Gets the local date and time at which the forms-authentication ticket was originally issued.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
The IssueDate property represents the local date and time when the forms-authentication ticket was issued. The RenewTicketIfOld method uses the IssueDate property value to determine whether the Expiration date and time of a forms-authentication ticket needs to be renewed and also uses the IssueDate property value to determine the new Expiration date and time. When a ticket is renewed, the IssueDate property is updated to the local date and time.
The following code example displays the property values of the FormsAuthenticationTicket for the current logged-on user.
Note |
|---|
If there is no logged-on user, the Identity property will be null and you will receive a compiler exception when attempting to cast the Identity property as a FormsIdentity object. |
