FormsAuthenticationEventArgs.User Property

Gets or sets the IPrincipal object to be associated with the request.

Property Value

The IPrincipal object to be associated with the request.

Remarks

The user object should be attached to the context. If User is non a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) and Context is a null reference (Nothing), the User will initialize Context with User.

At the time the event is fired, this will be a null reference (Nothing). The application handling the event should attach an appropriate User to the context, or to User.
