RouteCollection.SetItem Method

Replaces the route at the specified index.

Type: System.Int32
The zero-based index of the route to replace.
Type: System.Web.Routing.RouteBase
The route to add at the specified index.


item is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).


item is already in the collection.

When you add an unnamed route to the RouteCollection object, you cannot add a route that already is in the collection.

Use the GetReadLock method and the GetWriteLock method to make sure that you interact with the collection without conflicts from other processes.
