HttpResponse.SuppressContent Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether to send HTTP content to the client.

instance.SuppressContent = value

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true to suppress output; otherwise, false.

The following example checks whether the IsSecureConnection property is set to false. If it is, the SuppressContent property is set to true to stop the response from being sent.

' Check whether the request is sent 
' over HTTPS. If not, do not return 
' content to the client. 
If (Request.IsSecureConnection = False) Then      
    Response.SuppressContent = True
