HttpResponse.SuppressContent Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether to send HTTP content to the client.

public bool SuppressContent { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true to suppress output; otherwise, false.

The following example checks whether the IsSecureConnection property is set to false. If it is, the SuppressContent property is set to true to stop the response from being sent.


// Check whether the request is sent
// over HTTPS. If not, do not send 
// content to the client.    
if (!Request.IsSecureConnection)
{
    Response.SuppressContent = true;
}
