ApplicationManager::ShutdownApplication Method

Unloads the specified application.

Parameters

appId
Type: System::String
The unique identifier of the application to unload.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

appId is nullptr.

Calling the ShutdownApplication method is equivalent to calling the HostingEnvironment::InitiateShutdown method for a specific application domain; however, the ShutdownApplication method can be called from outside managed application domains.
