MetaTable::TryGetColumn Method

Returns a value that indicates whether a specified column can be found.

Assembly:  System.Web.DynamicData (in System.Web.DynamicData.dll)

bool TryGetColumn(
	String^ columnName, 
	[OutAttribute] MetaColumn^% column
)

Parameters

columnName
Type: System::String

The name of the column to find.

column
Type: System.Web.DynamicData::MetaColumn%

When this method returns, contains the MetaColumn object for columnName. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if the specified column can be found; otherwise, false.

If the columnName parameter is null, an InvalidOperationException exception is thrown.
