MetaColumn.ConvertEmptyStringToNull Property

Gets a value that indicates whether empty string values ("") are automatically converted to null values when the data field is updated in the data source.

Type: System.Boolean
true if empty string values are automatically converted to null values when the data field is updated in the data source; otherwise, false.

The ConvertEmptyStringToNull property verifies if a DisplayFormatAttribute attribute is applied to the data field and retrieves the value of the DisplayFormatAttribute.ConvertEmptyStringToNull property. If a DisplayFormatAttribute attribute is not found, this property verifies if a DataTypeAttribute attribute is applied to retrieve formatting information.
