DynamicControl::OnInit Method
Visual Studio 2010
Raises the Init event.
Assembly: System.Web.DynamicData (in System.Web.DynamicData.dll)
Parameters
- e
- Type: System::EventArgs
The event data.
| Exception | Condition |

| InvalidOperationException | The DataField property is not set. |
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnInit method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to InheritorsWhen overriding OnInit in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnInit method so that registered delegates receive the event.
