DefaultHttpHandler::BeginProcessRequest Method

Initiates an asynchronous call to the HTTP handler.

public: virtual IAsyncResult^ BeginProcessRequest( HttpContext^ context, AsyncCallback^ callback, Object^ state )
Parameters
- context
- Type: System.Web::HttpContext
An object that provides references to intrinsic server objects that are used to service HTTP requests.
- callback
- Type: System::AsyncCallback
The method to call when the asynchronous method call is complete. If callback is nullptr, the delegate is not called.
- state
- Type: System::Object
Any state data that is needed to process the request.
Return Value
Type: System::IAsyncResultAn IAsyncResult that contains information about the status of the process.

When creating an HTTP handler for asynchronous use, your handler must implement the asynchronous BeginProcessRequest and EndProcessRequest methods that are called asynchronously by ASP.NET.
