ProcessModelSection::ComAuthenticationLevel Property

Gets or sets a value indicating the level of authentication for DCOM security.

Namespace:  System.Web.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

[ConfigurationPropertyAttribute(L"comAuthenticationLevel", DefaultValue = ProcessModelComAuthenticationLevel::Connect)]
public:
property ProcessModelComAuthenticationLevel ComAuthenticationLevel {
	ProcessModelComAuthenticationLevel get ();
	void set (ProcessModelComAuthenticationLevel value);
}

When this property value is set to Default, DCOM determines the authentication level using its normal security-negotiation algorithm. The default value assigned to this property, as specified in the Machine.config file, is Connect. In this case, DCOM authenticates the credentials of the client only when the client establishes a relationship with the server.

The following code example shows how to access the ComAuthenticationLevel property.
