AssemblyCollection.Add Method

Adds an AssemblyInfo object to the AssemblyCollection collection.

Namespace:  System.Web.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public void Add(
	AssemblyInfo assemblyInformation
)

Parameters

assemblyInformation
Type: System.Web.Configuration.AssemblyInfo
A string value specifying the assembly reference.

Adds an AssemblyInfo object to the collection. If the assembly object is not initialized with assembly information, an exception is thrown. If the assembly object already exists in the collection, the statement is ignored.

The following code example demonstrates how to use the Add method. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the AssemblyCollection class.

// Create a new assembly reference.
AssemblyInfo myAssembly =
  new AssemblyInfo("MyAssembly, Version=1.0.0000.0, " +
  "Culture=neutral, Public KeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a");
// Add an assembly to the configuration.
configSection.Assemblies.Add(myAssembly);
