Creates a cached file.

Parameters

fileName
Type: System::String^

The name of the file to create.

Return Value

Type: System.IO::Stream^

The Stream object for the new file.

This method and the ReadCachedFile method enable you to perform caching that persists across application domain restarts in partial-trust environments. It is used by the MVC framework to cache results of the controller lookup.

To cache data, you write to the Stream object that is returned by this method.
