Encoding.Equals Method

Determines whether the current instance and the specified Object represent the same type and value.

Parameters

value
The Object to compare to the current instance.

Return Value

true if value represents the same type and value as the current instance; otherwise, false. false if value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or is not an instance of Encoding.
