WebHttpSecurity Class

Specifies the types of security available to a service endpoint configured to receive HTTP requests.

Namespace:  System.ServiceModel
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel.Web (in System.ServiceModel.Web.dll)

public sealed class WebHttpSecurity

The WebHttpSecurity type exposes the following members.

Public methodWebHttpSecurityCreates a new instance of the WebHttpSecurity class.

Public propertyModeGets or sets the mode of security that is used by an endpoint configured to receive HTTP requests with a WebHttpBinding.
Public propertyTransportGets an object that contains the transport-level security settings for this binding.

Public methodEquals(Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodFinalizeAllows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetHashCodeServes as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodGetTypeGets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodMemberwiseCloneCreates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public methodShouldSerializeModeSpecifies whether the Mode property has changed from its default and should be serialized. This is used for XAML integration.
Public methodShouldSerializeTransportReturns a value that indicates whether the Transport property has changed from its default value and should be serialized. This is used by WCF for XAML integration.
Public methodToStringReturns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)

WebHttpSecurity provides the security requirements for an endpoint configured with a WebHttpBinding.

If the Transport value is specified by the WebHttpBinding(WebHttpSecurityMode) method, then the settings provided by the Transport property become effective for the service endpoint. The value of WebHttpSecurityMode can only be set in the WebHttpBinding constructor that takes it as an explicit parameter and its value cannot be set again after the binding instance is created.
