ServiceBehaviorAttribute.GetWellKnownSingleton Method

Retrieves an object that implements the service and that is used as the singleton instance of the service, or null if there is no singleton instance.

public Object GetWellKnownSingleton()

Return Value

Type: System.Object
An implementation of the service. The default value is null.

A non-null value provides the service instance to which all messages addressed to the service will be dispatched.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
