ServiceBehaviorAttribute.ConfigurationName Property

Gets or sets the value used to locate the service element in an application configuration file.

Assembly:  System.ServiceModel (in System.ServiceModel.dll)

public string ConfigurationName { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
The value to locate in the configuration file. The default value is the fully qualified type name without assembly information.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

The value is null.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The value is an empty string.

Use this value to specify a particular service in the configuration file.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
