SecurityAlgorithmSuite.IsEncryptionAlgorithmSupported Method

Indicates whether an encryption algorithm is supported.

public virtual bool IsEncryptionAlgorithmSupported(
	string algorithm
)

Parameters

algorithm
Type: System.String
The algorithm name to check.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the encryption algorithm is supported; otherwise, false.

algorithm gets compared to the string returned from DefaultEncryptionAlgorithm.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
