IssuedTokenClientCredential.MaxIssuedTokenCachingTime Property

Gets or sets the maximum caching time for an issued token.

public TimeSpan MaxIssuedTokenCachingTime { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.TimeSpan
A Timespan that represents the maximum caching time for an issued token. The default value is MaxValue.


The value of set is less than zero.


An attempt was made to set a read-only credential.

By default, issued tokens obtained from the Security Token Service are cached by the client channel. This property enables the application to specify the maximum time that the channel caches the issued token.

This code shows how to set this property.
