MsmqBindingBase.Durable Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the messages processed by this binding are durable or volatile.

Namespace: System.ServiceModel
Assembly: System.ServiceModel (in system.servicemodel.dll)

public bool Durable { get; set; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_Durable ()

/** @property */
public void set_Durable (boolean value)

public function get Durable () : boolean

public function set Durable (value : boolean)

Not applicable.

Property Value

true if the messages processed by this binding are durable; false if they are volatile. The default is true.

A durable message survives a queue manager crash, while a volatile message does not. Volatile messages are useful when applications can tolerate occasional lost messages.

If ExactlyOnce is set to true, the messages must be durable.
