DispatchOperation.TransactionRequired Property

Gets or sets a value that specifies whether the operation must execute within a transaction.

Namespace:  System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher
Assembly:  System.ServiceModel (in System.ServiceModel.dll)

public bool TransactionRequired { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the operation must execute within the scope of a transaction; otherwise, false. The default is false.

If the TransactionRequired property is true, WCF sets the current transaction to the transaction used to receive the message if using a transacted transport; or the transaction flowed over the channel if the message had a transaction; or the dispatcher will create a new one.
