CallbackBehaviorAttribute.AutomaticSessionShutdown Property

Specifies whether to automatically close a session when a service closes a duplex session.

Namespace: System.ServiceModel
Assembly: System.ServiceModel (in system.servicemodel.dll)

public bool AutomaticSessionShutdown { get; set; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_AutomaticSessionShutdown ()

/** @property */
public void set_AutomaticSessionShutdown (boolean value)

public function get AutomaticSessionShutdown () : boolean

public function set AutomaticSessionShutdown (value : boolean)

Not applicable.

Property Value

true if duplex callback objects automatically close a session when the service closes a duplex session; otherwise, false. The default is true.

By default, when a service closes a duplex session and the callback has finished processing any remaining messages, the callback closes the session. Setting AutomaticSessionShutdown to false prevents the client from automatically closing the session.
