WindowsIdentity Methods

Public Methods

public methodEquals (inherited from Object) Overloaded. Determines whether two Object instances are equal.
public methodstatic (Shared in Visual Basic)GetAnonymous Returns a WindowsIdentity object that represents an anonymous Windows user.
public methodstatic (Shared in Visual Basic)GetCurrent Returns a WindowsIdentity object that represents the current Windows user.
public methodGetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
public methodGetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the current instance.
public methodImpersonate Overloaded. Allows code to impersonate a different Windows user.
public methodToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Protected Methods

protected methodFinalize Overridden. Frees resources before the WindowsIdentity is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector.

In C# and C++, finalizers are expressed using destructor syntax.

protected methodMemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
