ResourcePermissionBase.TagNames Property

Gets or sets an array of strings that identify the resource you are protecting.

Property Value

An array of strings that identify the resource you are trying to protect.

Exceptions

Exception Type Condition
ArgumentNullException The property value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
ArgumentException The length of the array is 0.

Remarks

Notes to Inheritors:  When you inherit from ResourcePermissionBase, you must set this property. For an example of an implementation of this class, see PerformanceCounterPermission. In PerformanceCounterPermission, the TagNames property is set privately to "Machine" and "Category".
