Specifies access to environment variables.

This enumeration has a FlagsAttribute attribute that allows a bitwise combination of its member values.

Namespace:  System.Security.Permissions
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

[SerializableAttribute]
[FlagsAttribute]
[ComVisibleAttribute(true)]
public enum EnvironmentPermissionAccess

Member nameDescription
NoAccessNo access to environment variables. NoAccess represents no valid EnvironmentPermissionAccess values and causes an ArgumentException when used as the parameter for GetPathList, which expects a single value.
ReadOnly read access to environment variables is specified. Changing, deleting and creating environment variables is not included in this access level.
WriteOnly write access to environment variables is specified. Write access includes creating and deleting environment variables as well as changing existing values. Reading environment variables is not included in this access level.
AllAccessRead and Write access to environment variables. AllAccess represents multiple EnvironmentPermissionAccess values and causes an ArgumentException when used as the flag parameter for the GetPathList method, which expects a single value.

This enumeration is used by EnvironmentPermission.

NoteNote:

Although NoAccess and AllAccess appear in EnvironmentPermissionAccess, they are not valid for use as the parameter for GetPathList because they describe no environment variable access types or all environment variable access types, respectively, and GetPathList expects a single environment variable access type.
