SignedInfo Class
Contains information about the canonicalization algorithm and signature algorithm used for the XML signature.
Assembly: System.Security (in System.Security.dll)
The SignedInfo type exposes the following members.
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | CanonicalizationMethod | Gets or sets the canonicalization algorithm that is used before signing for the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | CanonicalizationMethodObject | Gets a Transform object used for canonicalization. |
![]() | Count | Gets the number of references in the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | Id | Gets or sets the ID of the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | IsReadOnly | Gets a value that indicates whether the collection is read-only. |
![]() | IsSynchronized | Gets a value that indicates whether the collection is synchronized. |
![]() | References | Gets a list of the Reference objects of the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | SignatureLength | Gets or sets the length of the signature for the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | SignatureMethod | Gets or sets the name of the algorithm used for signature generation and validation for the current SignedInfo object. |
![]() | SyncRoot | Gets an object to use for synchronization. |
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | AddReference | Adds a Reference object to the list of references to digest and sign. |
![]() | CopyTo | Copies the elements of this instance into an Array object, starting at a specified index in the array. |
![]() | Equals(Object) | Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetEnumerator | Returns an enumerator that iterates through the collection of references. |
![]() | GetHashCode | Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetXml | Returns the XML representation of the SignedInfo object. |
![]() | LoadXml | Loads a SignedInfo state from an XML element. |
![]() | MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |

| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | AsParallel | Enables parallelization of a query. (Defined by ParallelEnumerable.) |
![]() | AsQueryable | Converts an IEnumerable to an IQueryable. (Defined by Queryable.) |
![]() | Cast<TResult> | Converts the elements of an IEnumerable to the specified type. (Defined by Enumerable.) |
![]() | OfType<TResult> | Filters the elements of an IEnumerable based on a specified type. (Defined by Enumerable.) |
The SignedInfo class represents the <SignedInfo> element of an XML signature defined by the XML digital signature specification. The <SignedInfo> element, which is a subelement of the <Signature> element, contains the canonicalization method used for signing, the algorithm used for signing and validation, and references that describe a digital signature.
For most scenarios, you should use the SignedInfo class available from the SignedInfo property to sign and verify XML digital signatures.
For more information about the <SignedInfo> element, see the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) specification at www.w3.org/TR/xmldsig-core/.

The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: MayLeakOnAbort. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser). For more information, see the HostProtectionAttribute class or SQL Server Programming and Host Protection Attributes. |
