KeyInfoClause Class
Represents the abstract base class from which all implementations of KeyInfo subelements inherit.
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoClause
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::DSAKeyValue
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoEncryptedKey
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoName
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoNode
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoRetrievalMethod
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::KeyInfoX509Data
System.Security.Cryptography.Xml::RSAKeyValue
Assembly: System.Security (in System.Security.dll)
The KeyInfoClause type exposes the following members.
| Name | Description | |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Equals(Object) | Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetHashCode | Serves as a hash function for a particular type. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | GetXml | When overridden in a derived class, returns an XML representation of the KeyInfoClause. |
![]() | LoadXml | When overridden in a derived class, parses the input XmlElement and configures the internal state of the KeyInfoClause to match. |
![]() | MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) |
![]() | ToString | Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.) |
You can use KeyInfoClause objects to build a KeyInfo object for a specific digital signature or encrypted XML document. KeyInfo allows recipients of XML digital signatures and encrypted XML documents to determine which signing method and key values should be used for validation and decryption.
For more information about the KeyInfo element and its subelements, see the XMLDSIG specification, which is available from the W3C at www.w3.org/TR/xmldsig-core/, or see the XML encryption specification, which is available from the W3C at www.w3.org/TR/xmlenc-core/.

The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: MayLeakOnAbort. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser). For more information, see the HostProtectionAttribute class or SQL Server Programming and Host Protection Attributes. |
